I was born in Lima, Peru, and my passion for the arts started when I was very little, a habit that I expressed with keen enthusiasm. I studied architecture in Lima, Peru, where I continued perfecting my drawing and painting skills. In 2001, I moved to the United States, and I studied art at Art Instruction Schools in Minneapolis, MN.
In 2005, I moved to Sioux Falls, SD where I started to work as an illustrator, fine artist, and editorial political cartoonist.
I have held several positions and as a book illustrator, and fine artist as well. In 2009 I won a Second Place Award in the Charles Schulz Cartoon Art Competition, and in 2011, a First Place Professional Award at Art Instruction Schools. My art pieces have been part of many art exhibits such as at Sanford Hospital, Avera Mc Kennan Hospital, Downtown Sioux Falls Main Library, etc.
I am also an accomplished school presenter and holds frequent art workshops.
